PUBLICATIONS

ANZONA is setting up a mentor support group to encourage & support those members who would like to publish articles/information. This may be to the International Journal of Orthopaedic & Trauma Nursing, other journals or local newsletters etc.

The mentor group will be able to support you in the publication process.

Publishing what we do as orthopaedic nurses is vital to the continued strength of our group & is also a great way to move ortho nursing forward in NZ & Australia.

It is important that we say & write down what we are doing as ortho nurses in our practice.

So if you think there is something in your practice that is worth sharing (and I believe that everyone has something worth sharing) with others please contact me to discuss the possibilities. I will put you in touch with someone who can help you plan the publication, review the writing and assist with the submission process.

Even if you have a rough idea & don’t know where to go from here.
